About Precision Guard Wildlife in Columbus, OH No scare tactics. No mystery price.
Precision Guard Wildlife in Columbus is the Central Ohio location. We look at the house, name what we found in plain words, and let you decide what happens next.
What a visit is for
Find what is inside. Understand how it got in. Then make a plan you can say yes or no to. Removal and closing the entry are different jobs. One without the other is how the same animal problem comes back.
The shared version of that process is on our approach. The work itself is local: Columbus roofs, the towns on the service area page, and the animals in the service list.
Ohio rules we follow
Ohio restricts bat exclusion twice a year. From May 16 through July 31, a colony of five or more bats stays put while pups grow. From October 15 through March 31, bats that may be hibernating stay put too. We can inspect in either window. We do not seal flightless or hibernating bats inside. Gaps from the attic into living space can be closed anytime.
Raccoons, skunks, and opossums cannot be driven across town. Ohio law says a captured one is released on the property or euthanized. Paid wildlife work in Ohio requires a commercial nuisance wild animal control operator license. We follow both rules, and we say so before any closing work.
If you want the state page, it is the Ohio DNR guide to bats in buildings. The longer explanation is in bats in the attic.
What we will not do
- We will not tell you it is a crisis just to rush you.
- We will not seal a mother out and leave babies in the wall.
- We will not pretend a price is real before we have seen the house.
- We will not ask you to identify the animal before we will listen.
